Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ in Pinecrest

Been ages where I can say I have gone out to eat, however, I know when service is good. Service is good when people go above and beyond to make sure they meet, address, and answer any question and try to make your experience an even brighter one. That's what happened when I went, from all the waiters and waitresses that assisted us in bringing us our food, there is not a SINGLE bad comment that I can state about them. Everyone was polite, courteous, and not afraid to help out even if you weren't their customer.Now coming to the food, the food was delicious, especially being able to cook majority of it, it was a nice experience. Everything was amazing and appreciate the service and care provided.

I honestly when in there with the mentality of, " Am i really going to pay a pretty penny to cook my own food..." But man once i was there.. The food was very good. The meat delicious, and the noodles ( I had the garlic noodles) to die for. Over all i loved it. Great environment for family and friends. Ill definetly be going back again!! Loved it!! Oh and great service!! 👌

Really good food. You've gotta cook the food that comes out (usually) but it's fine, they've got a little burner on the table your on. The meat is seasoned really well, and the service is decent. However if your attention span is anything like mine, you'll quickly find out how much of a hazard this place can be real damn quick. I've already set about 4 things on fire there. Its awesome.

Came with my wife on a date. Nice experience had the happy hour combo for two and added the s’mores. The food was tasty well seasoned. Next time might try the higher end combo. I’ll be bringing my daughters next time seemed like a fun time for the kids around us. While we waited for our table for like an hour. Since they text you when the table is ready. We went next door to the cheese course and had some cheese and beers as appetizers. The server was very informative about the menu as she explained it to us. She took very good care of us was very attentive.During the week they have happy hour so they have better pricing. You are paying for the experience. The wake was also very good. Great place to go on a Friday Night after work. You would think you leave smelling like a kitchen. We actually didn’t notice that. Cool place I’ll be back.

Great place! Here you cook your food with the help of the people from here. We had the ribs with some veggies. Omg, those thin ribs looked and tasted amazing. Among the veggies, we had mushrooms, zucchini, and onions. They also have four sauces and these were so good. My favorite was the premium because it was kind of sweet. The rice was my favorite. Until the last moment, it was hot and so tasty. The flavors were sensational. We loved this place so much and I can’t wait to go back.

Loved the place w this hard to find style of cooking. Great atmosphere to share w friends. Plenty of free parking very hard to find now days. Returning as soon as I am able.

Came to this restaurant upon a recommendation of my stepdaughter. Korean bbq style. The staff is very friendly great happy hour deals on beer wines and cocktails drinks. You pick out of the menu bundle packages and I will tell you the recommended serving sizes at the bottom either 23 or 4 are more. I highly recommend this place only thing I did not like was really more of an inconvenience because I did not know I had a time was the price actuation. It is kind of pricey but it is worth it especially if you come in a group. Celebrating my birthday dinner here with my wonderful fiance has been a great time.

Excellent food and service! Great selection of beef cuts. We had a preset series of dishes for 4 which included soup, salad, really good garlic noodles, fried rice, vegetables, an assortment of beef, pork, and chicken, and s'mores for dessert. I found it to be well worth the $140.

This was my first time eating here and I have to say that I am very happy that we made reservations prior to going and that the food was absolutely AMAZING!!!! We had more than enough for the both of us and I was not disappointed. The cooking sauces were exquisite with the meats. They made it extra special for a birthday and brought out some mochi. It was my first time trying the passion fruit flavor which was exquisite as well as the strawberry and vanilla ones as well. I highly recommend this restaurant I think it is a very fun atmosphere to go with a group of people or even if you want to be able to experience a romantic date night.

My husband and I came here for the 1st time on a date. We had a really nice time! The ambiance, food and service was great! We cooked our own meat; but we had so much fun with it!

Words cant describe this place. I normally go for the all you can eat and let me tell you its worth it. The meat is on point, the sides are great. Servers are on top of everything. You dont want to miss it.

A great selection of Japanese and Korean food for affordable prices. There is a BBQ grill for grilling meats and delicious noodle and rice dishes as sides. Wonderful and friendly staff too. Clean, comfortable and spacious.

I frequent this special place every couple of days because I like the good air that is characterizes this restaurant. The personel is very loyal and well trained. The service is remarkablywonderfully fast. Also, the food you get is highly distinguished. I frequent more than once and I was always happy. The price is decent. I suggest this place to to everybody.

Don't let the idea of having to cook your own food throw you off - Gyu-Kaku was the perfect experience for delicious eats and tons of fun. The menu is extensive, whether you're a beef, chicken, or seafood eater, they've got you covered. There's even veggies too! You cook your items over a personal grill at your table at your own pace and leisure. It makes for a ton of fun and conversation. Takes a bit of timing and skill but the results are worth it. The meats are delicious and tender. The fried bacon chips appetizers are a MUST! The drinks were also great as well. You'll get the best bang for your buck during their happy hour schedule.

Wow! Everything is Delicious! The Lunch Special and Happy Hour prices were great!!! Very affordable. They even have privacy booths! Server, Luis, was so attentive and friendly. Excellent meats and marinades.

This spot is my favored. I visit many restaurants but to this one I constantly return again and again. The team is very cordial and the cuisine they place on your table is so flavorful. I am always happy to have a decent dinner here. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Brought my family here who visited from out of town and the pre selected course menu was perfect! We were full but still had room for dessert! The wait staff was fantastic and very attentive! You come out smelling like food a little but but it's worth it!

Overall a very nice experience. The food was very tasty. The meats are fresh and the server was attentive. His introduction to the self cooking grill was concise. Beyond delicious! Will return and recommend. Minor issue with floor cleanliness.

This chain restaurant is famous for its Japanese style BBQ, but we tried some others in this specific one. Seat can be reserved online, so we didn’t have to wait. We arrive around 3:30pm, so there are not many customers there, not few though. The service is fast.The fried chickens are my favorite as usual, crispy outside and juicy inside. Ramen is normal. Salad is good but the amount is very small compared to its price. Matcha diary looks beautiful and decent, and tastes good but not as amazing as it looks.

They have all day happy hour on Sunday. A glass of wine is only $5. I recommend to get the happy hour set for 2 people, it just right amount of food and it's only $55. Great thin marinated meat. Best Japanese Barbecue restaurant in town. ( They also have more than 700+ around the world 😱 ) and last thing, don't burn your meat!
